Originally from Metro Manila, Philippines, JP’s journey to culinary excellence began when he moved to Canada as a teenager. After earning his Red Seal certification at the prestigious Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), he honed his craft in some of Calgary’s finest kitchens, where his talent and creativity quickly set him apart.
JP’s impressive accolades include top honors at Canada’s Great Kitchen Party in Edmonton, a bronze medal at the Canadian Culinary Championships, and a celebrated win on Food Network's Firemasters. These achievements reflect his dedication to innovation, precision, and delivering unforgettable dining experiences.
