Elana Levin is an accomplished and engaging chef who combines her love of cooking with a passion for teaching. A graduate of SAIT's renowned culinary program, she began her career with an apprenticeship at the Fairmont Château Whistler, mastering the art of fine dining and gaining a well-rounded culinary foundation.
Her career has been enriched by unique experiences, including working as a private chef in Hawaii and managing a specialty food market and café during her decade in Canmore. There, she also taught cooking classes at the Paintbox Lodge, solidifying her talent for inspiring others in the kitchen.
In 2016, Elana earned a degree in education, merging her culinary expertise with teaching to lead a successful culinary arts program for the Calgary Board of Education. This blend of skills makes her a natural fit for My Take Home Chef, where she specializes in creating fun, interactive, and personalized cooking classes for individuals, families, and groups.
Based in Calgary, Elana’s vibrant personality and dedication to tailoring experiences to clients' needs make her a favorite among those seeking both exceptional meals and engaging learning opportunities.
