Chris Pinette is the heart of My Take Home Chef’s dynamic team, earning the admiration of clients with his unparalleled creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Born in Toronto and raised in a vibrant multicultural neighborhood, Chris discovered a passion for diverse cuisines early on. After relocating to Calgary at fourteen, his culinary journey began, leading to a 25-year career at the helm of some of the city’s most celebrated dining establishments.


Chris is renowned for his ability to craft exquisite menus tailored to every occasion, from intimate gatherings to elegant private events and even large-scale celebrations. His love for fresh, seasonal ingredients shines through in every dish, and his clients consistently rave about the bold flavors and personal touches he brings to the table.


With a warm, approachable personality, Chris creates not just meals but memories. His talent spans weekly meal prep, private dining, small weddings, and special events, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience. While his schedule for weekly meal prep clients is currently waitlisted, Chris is accepting bookings for a full time Wednesday meal prep client starting February 26th and clients for one-of-a-kind events.

Strawberry Kiwi Yogurt Bowl 

Fresh kiwi, strawberry compote, granola, hemp hearts, and toasted almonds. 


Banana Chocolate Chip Pancakes 

Banana buttermilk pancakes with milk chocolate chips. 


Fried Chicken Sandwich 

Golden fried chicken thighs, Swiss cheese, dill pickles, and spicy aioli, on ciabatta bread. 


New England Clam Chowder 

Creamy chowder with potato, carrot, clam meat, celery, onion and herbs. 


Bolognese 

Ground beef, tomato, parmesan, fresh basil, and penne noodles. 


Sesame Tuna 

Sesame crusted, seared ahi tuna, with an Asian salad of carrot, broccoli, cabbage, celery, cilantro, snap peas, toasted peanuts, and sweet sesame dressing. 


Stuffed Pizza Burgers 

Beef burgers stuffed with mozzarella and pepperoni, with pizza sauce and potato wedges. 


Fruit Platter Seasonal fruits and berries.
