Chef Andrew Springett isn’t just a chef—he’s a storyteller, weaving more than 40 years of culinary expertise into every dish he creates. A Certified Chef de Cuisine, Andrew has honed his craft in some of the world’s most celebrated kitchens. His career includes leading roles at The Pointe Restaurant in Tofino, where he transformed local traditions into refined coastal cuisine, and representing Canada on the global stage at the Bocuse d’Or in France. He also earned gold medals with Culinary Team Canada at the prestigious Culinary Olympics.
Beyond his accomplishments in professional kitchens, Andrew is a celebrated instructor at SAIT, where he inspires the next generation of chefs. His award-winning teaching style is engaging, hands-on, and grounded in a deep respect for ingredients, technique, and the artistry of cooking.
