Chef Alex Brown is a Montreal-born culinary professional with over 20 years of experience in fine dining, high-volume kitchens, and seasonal, locally driven cuisine. His early career was shaped in Italian and Greek restaurants before moving into Montreal’s acclaimed fine-dining scene, working alongside respected teams at Tuck Shop, Europea, and Monkland Taverne.
Alex spent the next decade traveling and cooking around the world, immersing himself in regional cuisines and traditional techniques—from street markets in South America to family-run trattorias in northern Italy, Australia’s outback, and some of Canada’s most remote regions. These experiences shaped his adaptable, globally inspired style and deep respect for the cultural stories behind food.
Now based in Calgary, Chef Alex brings that global perspective into the homes of his clients through personalized weekly meal prep and in-home dining. His menus celebrate seasonal ingredients, support local producers, and blend international flavours with thoughtful, approachable cooking. Known for his versatility, professionalism, and genuine love of food, Alex creates meals that feel both nourishing and memorable.

Blueberry lemon oatmeal cake

Western style egg wrap
Egg, bacon, bell pepper and onion frittata, cheddar cheese, fresh tomatoes, spiced mayo,
tortilla.
Creamy Cauliflower miso and white bean soup (pureed)
Crusty bread, roasted Cauliflower florets, toasted walnuts, olive oil. ( Option for added
salad / filler )
Braised pork gyros
Braised pork shoulder, taztiki, pitas, fresh tomatoes, onion, served with a side salad.
Thai green curry
Thai style green chicken curry with lime leaves, lemongrass and vegetables served with rice.
Buddha bowl
Quinoa or your choice of grain, topped with crispy tofu (chicken), a large variety of seasonal
vegetables, pickled red onion, and a creamy sesame dressing.
Indian duo
Butter chicken and palak paneer, served with rice, naan, and a side salad.
